Similiar to closed Mr open Mr too uses a magnetic field and transducers to obtain the images of the unobservable parts of the body. In contrast to conventional x-ray devices and tomographies no ionizing radiation is used by the process . Open MRI gives relief to patients especially who have clostrophobic issues. Using open MRI, the required images of the problematic region can be obtained without causing the patient any clostrophobic discomfort.
